About the Job

Fora is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support our internal Travel Operations team to help manage and grow our Travel Partner relationships.

As a professional and strategic communicator, this Coordinator will communicate daily with our travel partners, from scheduling meetings and answering requests, to proactively reaching out (and following up) regarding current and new programs.  The ideal candidate is an excellent project manager possessing the ability to operationalize and action on strategic projects as they relate to Fora’s Travel Partners. 
 

Responsibilities

Travel Operations:

  • Support the Head of Travel Operations when imagining and organizing in person experiences with partners for advisors. This includes:
    • Coordinating outreach and engagement with travel partners for Site Visits, Fora-organized FAM trips and other in-person events
    • Managing and coordinating scheduling, often requiring frequent adjustments and changes
    • Proactively communicating to relevant team members across the organization in a timely and clear manner
    • Traveling and supporting travel partners and advisors on-the-ground as needed
  • Support cross-functional team members when imagining and organizing partner-focused training opportunities for advisors. This includes:
    • Suggesting potential partners based on 
    • Coordinating outreach and engagement with travel partners
    • Managing and coordinating scheduling, often with frequent adjustments and changes
  • Manage daily requests from travel partners including providing current and accurate Fora Advisor member lists and coordinating invitation requests
  • Coordinate the management, tracking and implementation of strategic travel operations projects such as a new Destination Management Company process roll-out
 

Project Management, Communications and Relationship Management

  • Ensure that the Head of Travel Operations is well supported while out of the office for frequent work travel. This includes:
    • Developing internal consistent communication systems
    • Helping to prioritize inbound requests and in-motion projects which require review or sign-off
    • Managing real-time needs from travel partners as relevant
  • Develop and maintain excellent project management systems to ensure transparency and clarity between team members and across teams
  • Refine communication templates and implementation, often adjusting for changing needs and expectations
  • Develop a strong understanding of the travel industry, partner types and key relationships
    • Act as a second point of contact for travel partners, building industry relationships, knowledge and rapport

Measurement

  • Define the goal and impact of each work stream
  • Develop global tracking systems for travel partners who engage with Fora Advisors
  • Collaborate with our data and engineering teams to ensure information is integrated into data systems and available across the organization
 

About You

  • 1-3 years of experience, particularly in Travel and Hospitality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proactively communicating with external partners and internal team members 
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects with various timelines and stakeholders, experience using project management software such as Asana, preferred
  • Proactive and organized self-starter who can solve problems and track data
 

Compensation

  • $60-70k base salary + equity
