We are looking for a Partnerships Lead to join our team and expand the reach of Fora through strategic partnerships.  This is a deeply creative position focusing on three main areas. First, you will develop strategies to increase travel advisors joining our community. Second, you will be responsible for creating and executing brand-aligned collaborations. Third, you will focus on our event programming and activations, bringing in relevant partners to increase brand awareness and advisor reach.  This role will be measured on your ability to increase advisor growth and visibility. 

You will work closely with executive leadership, in particular our Head of Community Natasha Hoskins. 

Fora is a modern, technology-enabled travel advisor marketplace with a business model similar to that of an online or traditional travel agency. Our mission of rebranding and retooling the travel agent presents a unique opportunity for this role to think creatively about how we find and acquire new advisors. There are many potential avenues to find our target advisors - people with travel knowledge & passion, looking to sell travel as the ultimate side hustle. Our advisors would not self-identify as being interested in becoming a travel agent.  This role is all about targeting existing networks, brands, and collaborators that we can work with to expand our reach and advisor community. 


Partnerships Lead will:

  • Create a world-class business development and partnerships function
  • Lead partnership initiatives and brand collaborations that will expand the business with a specific goal around advisor acquisition
  • Build a comprehensive plan to attack various synergistic verticals - hospitality, lifestyle, D2C, real estate, charities, schools & religious institutions, fashion, etc.  
  • Pitch and develop creative partnerships, owning everything from outreach to implementation of new venture opportunities
  • Project-manage various workstreams, pulling in full-time or contract support as needed. 
  • Monitor and evaluate industry trends and drivers that will generate new leads and advisor growth
  • Spearhead experiential and in-person initiatives, bringing in brands and collaborators who will access new audiences, networks, and communities to further Fora’s exposure 


  • Experience in agency, in house or freelance partnerships or BD experience
  • Intense creativity and original thinking
  • Great process design skills and execution focus
  • Project management and sales expertise
  • Deep network with relevant brands 
  • Track record of building and maintaining relationships with brands, clients, suppliers, and teams
  • Travel or Hospitality experience a bonus
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree


We are based in New York City and looking to build the core of our team here. Our current approach to hybrid is 2 or 3 days in the office each week, although some work from the office every day.
